I have been using Edge for a while but now it simply does not open. When I try to activate it, it seems to open with a blank page then closes. There are no error reports posted and I am returned to my Home screen. I don't seem able to delete it either so that I an re-install.

Hi, I Couldn't install any apps on my xbox one S from store, the online library doesn't work to. I restore xbox from factory defaults and the issue persist, no errors in screen, just dont start nothing. Seams this start to happen after update from 04/07/21. Why didnt microsoft make edge work right? Its barely useable. Page unresponsive error, scrolling error, cursor stuck at top, some sites dont work at all etc. You would think they would want their. To delete cache as suggested, press the Xbox console power button for 10 seconds till fully shut down, unplug for 60 seconds (from wall socket and Xbox if it is an original One with power brick) plug back in and turn back on. Also have a check in 'my games & apps' to see if there is an update waiting. please try a power cycle. here you can find a complete Manual:

are you perhaps in the insider program that it could be a bug that has occurred through the program? Romset. if so, it would be great if you report the bug through the insider app.

I don't seem able to delete anything associated with Edge. If I go to 'Manage App' I do not have anything in 'Saved Data'. There is no option to delete the App so that I could perhaps re-install.
Try performing a hard reset EXACTLY like this.Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart the console. I have found that leaving it unplugged is significantly more effective than leaving it for just a few seconds.
