Once you connected to a Hue Bridge you are able to create your Presets, control each Bulb to turn it On or Off, see your Switches and their Battery States and if they are reachable (powered on).
In a Preset you can define which Bulb to use, which bulbs to turn off automatically and what shall happen once you stop AmbiDesk. After choosing your Preset you can position each Bulb you chose to use freely on a Live Preview of your Screen to reflect this Point with this Bulb.
AmbiDesk for Hue supports two modes, either Display Mode to use your visible Content for the Colors or Audio Mode to use the currently playing Audio as a Source to color the Bulbs based on the heard musical Notes.Free
You can than control AmbiDesk either from its main UI, a Widget, an iOS Remote App or by right-clicking the Dock Icon
AmbiDesk attempts to keep it simple, simply setup your Preset, position your Bulbs and start, that’s all, and even the Preset Setup is optional, if you only have e.g. a Hue Starter Set with 3 Bulbs and you want to use them all, you can do this with just a few clicks ^
